Accounts Assistant

Green Motion are seeking a keen and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join the ever-expanding team.

Salary: 20-25k

Contract type: Permanent

Green Motion was established in the United Kingdom in 2007 and is not only recognised as a world leading brand in the provision of low CO2 car and van rental, but is also one of the leading forces within the UK, providing a fantastic rental service at market-leading rates. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team and work in our head office in Woburn, Bedfordshire. This role will support us in ensuring we deliver a seamless accounts process, both internally with our employees, as well as with our clients and customers too. The ideal candidate will work 9-5 Monday to Friday.

Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Processing of invoices
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements, and resolution of arising queries.
  • Reconciliation of customer accounts, and resolution of arising queries.
  • Managing accounts email boxes
  • Supply partner monthly billing – multiple currencies
  • Supply partner remittances – multiple currencies
  • Dealing with (and resolve) general invoice queries via phone or email
  • Produce monthly reports for manager
  • Assist with Franchise account and credit control management

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold or working towards AAT Certificate or related accountancy qualification – Desirable
  • Experience using sage 200 - Desirable
  • Good Excel knowledge – Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Good understanding and experience of accountancy required
  • Good organisation skills
  • Excellent communications skills including both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage their time effectively
