Enjoy your car hire in Albania
If this is your first time driving a car in Albania, our advice is to stay calm and take your time. As already mentioned, remember to drive on the right and we’d also recommend for your own peace of mind to consider hiring a GPS to ensure you can navigate around with relative ease (ask at the rental counter for details).
There are no toll roads in Albania.
When travelling on the motorways the speed limit is 110 km/h. The speed limit outside towns is 90 km/h and 50 km/h in built-up areas. For your own safety it is important that you obey the local traffic and speed restrictions.
Should you require any assistance while in Albania, emergency services can be contacted by calling 129.
