​Uber is restarting its self-driving pilot programs in Pittsburgh and Arizona

Uber is restarting its self-driving pilot programs in Pittsburgh and Arizona. The programs were suspended last Friday following an accident which one of its vehicles was involved in.

The Volvo SUV flipped on its side after an accident in Tempe, Arizona. Another car was involved in the accident which was dented and had its windows smashed.

A police spokeswoman has stated that the Uber vehicle did not cause the crash and has confirmed that there were no injuries.

Uber is currently testing its self-driving vehicles in Pittsburgh, Arizona and San Francisco.
