We are thrilled to announce that Green Motion is sponsoring the Yorkshire Beast Unleashed, an ambitious endurance challenge raising money for two exceptional charities: Candlelighters and the Alzheimer’s Society. 

Two Routes. One Challenge. 

This year Yorkshire Beast Unleashed takes a slight twist as there will be two teams completing two very different journeys with just eight days to complete them. 

The cycling team led by Martin Mansell will cycle over 1000 miles from Leeds Bradford Airport to the coastal city of Nice, crossing countries and mountain ranges along the way. 

Steve Dennis will be heading up Team EV and will be driving an electric vehicle on a 3,300-mile route through 20 Countries, navigating the complexity of the European roads and EV charging infrastructure. 

While their paths are different, they share the same goal of going the distance for a cause that truly matters.

The challenge is in support of two charities doing vital work across the UK:

Candlelighters provides emotional, practical, and financial support to children with cancer and their families across Yorkshire.

Alzheimer’s Society leads the way in dementia care, research, and advocacy, helping individuals and families facing one of the toughest health challenges of our time.

At Green Motion, we’re committed to innovation that drives positive change and the Yorkshire Beast Unleashed challenge embodies this commitment.
