Green Motion Car Rental is delighted to announce the signing of a new partnership with Ethiopian Airlines’ ShebaMiles Programme, further strengthening its commitment to delivering rewarding and seamless travel experiences for customers worldwide.
The agreement was formally signed at Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa on Tuesday, 14th March 2026, marking an important step in extending ShebaMiles beyond air travel into ground transportation through Green Motion’s global car rental network.
Through this partnership, ShebaMiles members can now earn 1 award mile for every USD 1 spent on qualifying Green Motion rentals across the world. ShebaMiles Elite members will also enjoy exclusive savings of up to 15% on their Green Motion car rental, adding even more value to every journey. Members simply need to provide their ShebaMiles membership number at the Green Motion rental desk to take advantage of the benefits.
This collaboration reflects Ethiopian Airlines’ continued development of its loyalty programme, bringing more ways for customers to earn and benefit from rewards across the full travel journey.
With operations in more than 600 locations across 80+ countries, Green Motion continues to support travellers wherever they land, offering modern, flexible vehicle solutions designed to make travel more convenient and accessible.
The partnership also highlights Green Motion’s growing presence in Ethiopia following its 2024 expansion into the market through a master franchise model led by local operator Bizuayehu Tadesse. The development strengthens the connection between Addis Ababa Bole International Airport and onward travel, helping customers enjoy a smoother and more connected journey.
