Green Motion are pleased to announce that our team have a stand in place today (15th April) at the long awaited GreenFleet Scotland event in Edinburgh.
The event is designed to demonstrate the viability of ultra-low emission, plug-in, hybrid and electric vehicles to organisations that want to improve the efficiency of their fleet.
Its purpose is one which is very important to Green Motion’s beliefs, and we’re proud to have a presence at this show. As the world’s first environmentally friendly car and van hire company we are constantly making efforts to reduce the impact of global CO2 emissions associated with road travel.
Now in its sixth year, the event gives visitors the opportunity to test drive the latest low emission vehicles with over 70 makes and models available. TV and motoring journalist, Quentin Wilson who has a genuine passion for ultra-low emission vehicles, is also in attendance and is offering his thoughts on the future of the industry.
Green Motion share the view that positioning the UK at the forefront of ultra-low emitting vehicle development, manufacture and use will significantly benefit the environment and the UK economy. It has recently been found that investment into electric vehicles alone would generate a £51 billion boost for the UK economy - with investments necessary to make EVs even more convenient and to make sure that there are enough qualified persons to service and repair the vehicles.
With branches across the UK, including Edinburgh, Green Motion have vehicles that are the cutting edge of environmental technology and boast the latest in low CO2 technologies.
