​The BVRLA’s honorary life president, Mr Freddie Aldous, has passed away

The BVRLA’s (British Vehicle Rental Leasing Association) honorary life president, Mr Freddie Aldous, has passed away.

Aldous was a pioneer and innovator in the rent-a-car and leasing sector, playing a central role in the development and operation of the BVRLA and ECATRA (European Car and Truck Rental Association).

As a Chairman (1971-1973) and president (1992-2004) of the BVRLA, he was instrumental in helping the association grow into the large trade association that it is today.

In 2004, he was appointed as the honorary life president in recognition of his services to the industry.

As members of the BVRLA, Green Motion's thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.
