Audi entering into dialogue with Silvercar Inc

The Audi board have announced that they have entered discussions to acquire the shared mobility company, Silvercar Inc., in order to expand their digital mobility services and solutions.

Both companies are confident of the approval of the transaction and hope for the deal to be concluded by the first half of 2017.

Silvercar Inc. is based in Austin and will help to strengthen Audi’s mobility needs in the U.S. market.

Silvercar will continue its operations in harmony with Audi, as currently Silvercar has an app-based car rental services in 15 US locations including Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, New York City, Phoenix, and San Francisco.
