Green Motion awarded the Green World Award 2023
What a win!
Chevy announced that their Bolt EV vehicles have been given a rating of 238 miles of range by the EPA.
When the Bolt was revealed in January, Chevy announced that it would have a range of 200 plus miles per single charge.
This new announcement will compete closely with Tesla as Chevy is promising around 20 miles more than Tesla’s Model 3 which is due to hit roads late 2017.
The Bolt has already started production and is due to become available to dealerships before the end of this year, priced at $37,500 USD (before federal credits of $7,500).
The Bolt is built around a 60 kWh battery pack and there were several features which helped Chevy to push the boundaries of the Bolt’s range, being its clean and sleek design, that it is light in weight, it has progressive battery technology and improved regenerative braking which allows EV’s to use braking to recapture charge and extend their range.
