Another new location opening for Green Motion!
Green Motion grows again!
Ctrip.com, China’s biggest online travel company, announced yesterday that they have purchased the travel search website, Skyscanner, in a deal which valued the Scotish based company at £1.4 billion / $1.74 billion.
Skyscanner was created by CEO and co-founder, Gareth Williams, after he become increasingly frustrated with trying to find cheap flights. The website allows customers to compare travel prices for flights, hotels and car hire.
Currently, the website has around 60 million users each month and is available in over 30 languages.
Skyscanner’s current management team will continue to control its operations after the close of the deal which is scheduled before the end of 2016.
