Easyjet to operate 500 flights per day from this week

Easyjet has announced a further ramping up of flights from this week, as the carrier moves towards serving 75 per cent of its network by August. Click here to read the full story.

From July 1 Easyjet will operate around 500 flights per days across its European network, including over 900 flights per week to and from the UK.

Services will resume from Luton, Stansted, Manchester and Aberdeen for the first time since all flights were grounded at the end of March, and the carrier says it intends to fly 50 per cent of its 1,022 routes in July.

Selected international routes from Gatwick, Luton, Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Belfast will relaunch to destinations including Milan and Barcelona, and there will be an increased capacity across beach destinations for July and August, including the Balearics and Canary Islands, and “lively beach destinations across Greece, Croatia and Portugal”.

A new summer route between Gatwick and Stockholm is also set to launch on July 20.
