Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, revealed last Friday its new solar roof with SolarCity.

In Musk’s presentation, he showcased the solar roofs on houses in Universal Studio’s famous backlot.

The solar roofs come in a variety of designs, from traditional to modern styles, all built with glass solar panels which has ensured that Tesla’s panels standout from the crowd. Musk said that he wanted the roof designs to be just as beautiful as they are ecological.

The glass tiles are embedded with the highest efficiency photovoltaic cells and when combined with Tesla Powerwall, the solar roof can provide power with 100% renewable energy to an entire home.
