Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit has evidence that Britain has grown richer and decreased their carbon footprint faster than any other G7 nation

The world is still contesting the benefits of reducing emissions and whether this will have a positive or negative impact on our economy.

Research published earlier this week by the Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit has evidence that Britain has grown richer faster than citizens from any other G7 nation, during this period Britain’s carbon footprint has also decreased faster than any other G7 nation.

While it is a stretch to claim that Britain’s commitment to the environment has been solely responsible for its economic growth, you can also not contest that it has not generated any economic harm.

Since the early 1990’s, science has evidenced over and over again that climate change is dangerous, add to this the growing indication, as evidenced by Britain, that a transition to low-carbon goods and services is economically feasible, many wonder why we are still questioning this issue.
