Another new location opening for Green Motion!
Green Motion grows again!
General Motors may be selling Opel, which includes the UK’s Vauxhall, to the company which owns Peugeot.
The company has been unable to turn the loss-making division around after Brexit.
General Motors are the 3rd largest carmaker in the world and the biggest in the US however they have lost more than $15 billion from Opel since 2000. They had hoped to breakeven by now however they had an annual loss of $257 million (£206 million) for 2016.
General Motors are still advocating their motor plants in the UK, stating that their plants have proved themselves in comparison with other European plants however they have admitted that whoever buys Vauxhall would need to protect themselves in Brexit negations.
