I can honestly say that the challenges posed by this pandemic are unprecedented for the rental industry, but not insurmountable. Over the years we have watched consumer demands change as they have become more aware of the importance of their environmental impact, and our service has evolved to meet that demand with the employment of new technologies. This time we have just had to move faster.
We at Green Motion have faced COVID-19 with the same mindset that we have faced our mission to bring environmentally-friendly rentals to our customers. Endeavouring to lead the way with the implementation of our Full COVID-19 Shield Customer and Staff Safety Procedure, but never waivering from our promise to deliver the very best levels of service. It is understandable that our customers feel trepidation about the rental experience with all of the new changes that we have needed to implement to create a safe environment in the rental station. However, our message to all of our customers right now is that every additional step that we have taken is to enhance their experience.
It is more important than ever that we embrace new technology to help us navigate our way through this new normal. The most sought after right now being contactless technology. When we launched Move Mee last year, we could not have foreseen today's events, but we can see now more than ever that the service it offers is vital to the industry. There are many benefits to contactless, Straight-to-Car rentals, such as speed and efficiency, but the peace of mind that comes with a contactless rental, knowing what we know now, is unparalleled.
I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to every member of the Green Motion and Move Mee teams for their tremendous efforts in facing this crisis head on.
