The environmentally friendly car hire company, Green Motion, has announced today that their flagship rent-a-car location at Miami International Airport (MIA) has further enhanced its environmental commitment by adopting a 100% waterless cleaning process for its expanding fleet of rental vehicles.

Green Motion at Miami Airport has teamed up with the US company called Metro Shine who are a leading provider of eco car cleaning systems and services. The Metro Shine cleaning system not only dramatically reduces the amount of water from an estimated 40 - 92 gallons per vehicle to under a pint of water per car but also is a propriety organic product that is non-toxic for humans, animals and the environment.

The owner of the Green Motion master state franchise for Florida, Patricio Franulic, said, "I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with Metro Shine and further enhance Green Motion Miami Airport's commitment to the environment and our own sustainability, our car rental operation currently can handle up to 100 returns per day and as such by utilising the waterless cleaning product we are saving an estimated 6,500 of water per day which is a staggering achievement."
