International environmentally focused car rental brand Green Motion announced this week the launch of its newest franchise - Green Motion Georgia, continuing the development of the brand in Eastern Europe.
Originally acquired by experienced local car rental entrepreneur Suren Melikyan along with the Green Motion Master Franchise for Armenia in 2020, the launch of Green Motion Georgia was postponed due to the pandemic. However with many markets opening up and travel restrictions beginning to be lifted, now is the perfect time for Green Motion Georgia to benefit from pent-up travel demand and the extended summer 2021 season.
Green Motion Founder & CEO Richard Lowden said, "We are delighted to welcome Suren and his team to the Green Motion family. We are certain that under Suren's experienced hand Green Motion Georgia and Armenia will be fantastic Green Motion franchises. We are extremely proud that despite the challenges of the past year we continue to expand and attract new franchisees, ensuring our continued relevance, growth and success."
Green Motion Georgia will open first at Tbilisi International Airport, with future locations opening at Tbilisi Downtown, Kutaisi International Airport, and Batumi International Airport.
