Green Motion vans have been out in force across Scotland and the Midlands supporting local charities throughout this pandemic.
Vinay and Viral Pala, who own the franchises across Scotland and the Midlands, have always been known for the way that they prioritise giving back to their local communities. At the beginning of May they started offering free van rentals to any registered charities that needed them to cope with the increased demand due to Covid_19. We are delighted to be able to report that many charities have taken us up on this offer.
The latest charity to make the most of this incredible offer is Edinburgh Community Food who have taken two vans for one month. With their mission of 'Helping people get into healthy food and getting healthy food into people' we know that their work is vitally important, especially in times like these. We truly hope that our vans will provide them with the transportation they need to succeed in this.
One of the charities main projects is the Discover School Holiday Project, where they are able to support school children with cooking equipment and activity packs over the summer holidays. They have packed 140 boxes so far. It is an honour to know that our vans will be helping to deliver these boxes to children across Edinburgh.
If your registered charity is in need of a van, you can find out more about this offer here or please contact us at [email protected].
