Green Motion launches in Estonia

Green Motion continues its rapid European expansion with the launch of the brand in Estonia.

The first Green Motion locations in Estonia opened at the end of 2018 supporting Tallinn Airport as well as several downtown locations including Tallinn railway station and bus station

The Green Motion franchise for Estonia was acquired by entrepreneur Mykolas Sabaitis who also owns the Green Motion Master Country Franchises for Poland, Lithuania and Latvia.

Mykolas said, "I am delighted to have the opportunity to further expand my business with Green Motion. Since joining the Green Motion family in 2014 opening our first location in Vilnius Lithuania we have enjoyed tremendous expansion and success. We now operate 45 car rental locations throughout Lithuania, Latvia, Poland and now Estonia."

The Founder and CEO of Green Motion, Richard Lowden, said, "We are very proud of Mykolas' achievements thus far with the development of the Green Motion brand throughout the Baltics. Mykolas and his team deliver exceptional service and I am confident that their expansion into Estonia will be another fantastic success story for the Green Motion franchise network."

Estonia borders the Baltic Sea and Gulf of Finland. Including more than 1,500 islands, its diverse terrain spans rocky beaches, old-growth forest and several beautiful lakes. Formerly part of the Soviet Union, Estonia is dotted with historic castles, churches and hilltop fortresses. The capital Tallinn is known for its preserved Old Town, museums and the 314m-high Tallinn TV Tower, which has an observation deck.
