Green Motion Poland announced this week that they have invested in new Hyundai and Kia fleet in order to meet the demands of the returning travel sector for summer 2021.
Green Motion Poland CEO Grzegorz “Greg” Czarnecki said, "We are now beginning to see signs of the return of the market, with higher prices and fleet utilization here in Poland."
During the pandemic Green Motion Poland relocated almost half of its fleet to medium term rent (B2B) contracts, but these rental agreements will all terminate by the end of June – so for the high season all of Green Motion's cars will be available, back at the Airports.
Greg explains, "What is crucial is that except for some short term sub-rentals in July and August 2020 – there was no new car deliveries in Poland, since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, finally, new cars are arriving."
Green Motion Poland took delivery this week of 30 brand new Hyundai i30s from the Lodz Hyundai and KIA dealer, and will receive a further delivery of 200 new Kias (Ceed and Sportage) through June. (Pictured: Dealer CEO Pavel Bialkowski and Green Motion Poland CEO Greg Czarnecki).
Greg continued, "This is like a fresh breeze of spring, warm wind, after the long, very long COVID “winter”. It is nice to look at our employees, who finally receive the first new vehicles after such a long time. It is visible, that it confirms their loyalty and patience, which has helped us to stay together and survive, until the “good times” return, which we all count for. We are all looking into the future with a dose of optimism!"
