Green Motion have once again been presented with the prestigious 'Green Apple' Award by The Green Organisation in their campaign to find the greenest companies for the fifth year in a row.
They competed with more than 500 other nominations in the International Green Apple Awards 2019, and were presented with their trophy and certificate at a glittering presentation ceremony at the Houses of Parliament in London on 25th November 2019.
As a result of their International Green Apple Award success they have also been invited to achieve Green World Ambassador status for 2020, and have their winning paper published in The Green Book (the leading international work of reference on environmental best practice) so that others around the world can follow their lead and learn from their achievement.
Green Motion CEO and Founder Richard Lowden said, "We are delighted to have been recognised with this award by the Green Organisation once again. Our brand is focused on environmentally friendly sustainable operation, with our environmental strategy being the absolute priority. We were delighted to be presented our award at the ceremony at the Houses of Parliament last week, and welcome the opportunity to once again represent our industry as 'Green Ambassadors' for 2020."
The Award was presented to Green Motion Systems Manager Neil Greig (pictured). Master of ceremonies, Phil Williams from Plan-It Eco said, "This car rental company remains the only eco-focused organisation in the sector and, as it expands across the world, so does its impact. Clients have the opportunity to offset their reduced footprint further by donating to the Costa Rican rainforests, with over £40,00 donated in the last year."
