The Green Motion team supported #EarthHour this weekend, with staff participating at home and turning off lights for 60 minutes.

A cause close to our heart, we support the need for more to be done to help combat climate change.

Earth Hour is an annual global event organised by the World Wide Fund for Nature. Earth Hour started the same year as Green Motion, back in 2007, and although we've all made a lot of progress, there is still work to be done.

Famous landmarks in cities around the world such as Paris, Moscow, Athens, Rome, Berlin and Rio de Janeiro turned off their lights to raise awareness of environmental issues.

This year's event highlights the link between the destruction of nature and increasing outbreaks of diseases like Covid-19.
