Green Motion International continues the rapid expansion of its environmentally focused car rental company into Kenya!

The Kenyan franchise was acquired by local business man, Sehmi Sagaar who currently operates an independent brand leasing vehicles to corporate clients. Following a very successful career in long term leasing and bringing with him over eight years of experience, Mr Sagaar has joined the company with the intention of expanding his short term rental business.

Green Motion is thrilled to announce that the first Kenyan branch to open will be the Nairobi airport location in October, with another smaller site located within the same city. As rental stations at Nairobi airport are located around 5 km away from the main terminals, there have been discussions about turning the site into a 'Meet and Greet' location. This would allow Green Motion agents to deliver the low emission rental vehicles directly to the customer at the airport in order to improve the experience and to reduce the clients over all waiting and travel time.

As well as the main office in Nairobi, there will also be a rental station located 8 hours away in the city of Mombasa which is due to open in early December. Green Motion International is sure that the early expansion of the Kenyan franchise is just the first example of the many achievements that are yet to come and we are sure that Mr Sagaar will continue to advance in his field with the support and knowledge of the combined network.
