This week Kia has unveiled its e-Niro fully electric SUV which will have a European homologated WLTP combined cycle range of up to 301 miles when it goes on sale at the end of the year.
The e-Niro is Kia’s first fully-electric crossover utility vehicle, and will be revealed at the Paris Motor Show next month, joining existing hybrid and plug-in hybrid models in the Niro range.
It will be available with a choice of two batteries: a high-capacity 64kWh lithium-ion polymer battery. On the WLTP ‘urban’ test cycle, the e-Niro is capable of travelling for up to 382 miles, and 301 miles on the combined cycle.
