London Airports have cancelled flights because of fog which is covering the majority of southern England.

Around 100 flights were affected at London Heathrow, 9 flights were cancelled at London Gatwick and London City cancelled 88 flights.

The Met Office stated that the fog warning has now lifted, however forecasters are warning that Tuesday morning may face further disruption.

If you are driving in the fog, the Highway Code has stated that you must use headlights when your visibility is reduced – generally, this means when you are unable to see for more than 100m (328ft).
