London EV Company’s (LEVC) hybrid TX taxi is now fully certified to transport passengers.

The taxis were put through meticulous testing, which included extreme weather conditions and being driven thousands of miles by real London taxi drivers.

The TX is ready ahead of TFL’s January 2018 deadline when it is a requirement that all licensed taxis are zero emission capable.

Features of the TX taxi include air conditioning, wheelchair accessibility, phone charging, Wi-Fi and many more.

Unlike the previous versions, the TX taxi has a multi-filter system which removes gases and particles from incoming air. In addition, the vehicle automatically closes the external air intake when it detects increased levels of pollution in the outside air – protecting its passengers and driver.
