While car rental company, Green Motion was exhibiting at this years British & International Franchise Exhibition at London's Olympia, the British Franchise Association (BFA) invited a Green Motion franchisee to address an audience of potential franchisees at one of their workshops - "Meet the Franchisee."

Green Motion's Central London franchise owner, John Goh stepped up to the plate and shared his experiences with the audience. John explained that he had been a franchisee of Green Motion for a little over 6 years, having left steady employment to be his own boss.

Originally, John acquired the rights for Green Motion UK's Central London franchise which is located in the London Hilton Metropole on Edgware Road. Following the success of his first Green Motion car hire franchise, he then sought to develop his own group and was awarded a second franchise territory covering London Luton's International Airport which due to its formidable success and expansion, it is now moving to a new location at the Hamptons by Hilton at Luton International Airport.

John's appetite for growth and success continued with him more recently acquiring (January 2017) the rights for Green Motion's London City Airport franchise which will officially launch on the 1st of February 2016.

During the workshop, John relayed to the audience that being your own boss is incredibly rewarding but also very challenging at the same time. He reiterated the importance of having the necessary funding before commencing your franchise business and making sure that full due diligence and market research had been undertaken.
