Nissan have announced that amongst the 13 vehicles they plan to display at this years Tokyo Motor Show, will be the Nissan LEAF NISMO concept vehicle. The 45th Tokyo Motor Show, being held at Tokyo Big Sight, will be open to the public from the 27th of October to the 5th of November.
The new Nissan LEAF was launched in September and has been truly enhanced by Nissan's motorsports and in-house tuning team, both inside and out. The new sporty exterior, complete with the signature red accents, has been designed to boost aerodynamics, whilst keeping the LEAF's drag coefficient. The interior has been given a face-lift too, creating an exciting, high-performance feel for the car.
Nissan have also included the latest iteration of their ProPILOT single-lane autonomous driving technology. It includes ProPILOT Park, the first technology in a Japanese-made vehicle to help drivers park by automatically controlling the accelerator, brakes, steering, shift changing and parking brake. Another feature of the new LEAF is the e-Pedal, which will allow the driver to start, accelerate, decelerate, stop and hold the car by using only the accelerator pedal.
