A creative little town, Samobor is well known for its craft makers and artisans that produce a lot of goods that you’ll find for sale in Samobor, Croatia and worldwide. Samobor Castle is a great place to visit, with the Castle still standing despite being built in 1268! Afterwards, pop on over to the Samobor Museum where you’ll see the history of the town as well as art and archaeological findings. The largest city on the Adriatic coast, there are plenty of picturesque places to visit when you’re in Split. Diocletian’s Palace should be top of your list to visit, and is well worth paying for a tour of the building so you get to appreciate all it has to offer. The Cathedral of St Dominius isn’t too far away, and was built at the same time as the palace, and if you’re looking for good views of the city the bell tower will not disappoint. If you want to work in a bit of shopping, head on over to the People’s Square, also known as Pjaca, where you can have a stroll around the shops and pick up some lunch.

Another stunning place to visit in Croatia, the city of Zadar is steeped in history and has plenty to see and explore. One of the more unique things to visit in Zadar is their musical sea organ, Morske Orgulje, which plays music from 35 organ pipes that react with the sea water and wind movements to produce a tune. If you want to stay with nature, a visit to the Plitvice National Park should be on your itinerary, or go a little further afield to Krka National Park where you can swim at the foot of seven cascades at Skradinski Buk.
