The gorge is actually four gorges, Gornja klisura, Gospođin vir, Veliki and Mali kazan and Sipska klisura, and is in the biggest National Park in Serbia. Also known as the Iron Gate, the gorge spans over 100km and the surrounding area reaches up to 800m above sea level.

If your in the Northern Province of Serbia, the Fruska Gora is the only mountain, located in Pannonia plain. The area is also home to 16 medieval monasteries and is famous for local wineries. Fruska Gora could easily be added to your trip if you were visiting nearby Belgrade or Novi Sad.
