Risk-based approach to international travel restart urged by MPs in the UK

The UK government is being urged to introduce a risk-based approach to the restart of international travel. Click here to read the full story.

This approach would allow for travel to low-risk nations with “minimal or no restrictions” while providing flexibility for restrictions on high risk nations, including those with Covid-19 variants of concern.

The MPs have also called for the introduction of rapid testing for international arrivals where required, and for any use of the ‘test to release’ policy to keep quarantine periods as low as possible.

Green Motion Founder & CEO Richard Lowden said, "Green Motion International and our global network welcome the efforts by these MPs to try and find a workable solution to restarting international travel, and are ready to do whatever we can to help restart travel in a safe and sustainable way."
