It is very likely that San Diego in California, USA will have a dusting of snow on Christmas morning!
A winter storm is due to be arriving into Southern California late on Friday, bringing fresh snow to the mountains east of San Diego, just in time for Christmas morning.
The storm is expected to be cold and windy which could make travel plans difficult for those arriving or leaving San Diego over the weekend.
However, before the cold storm hits on Friday evening, a warm and sub-tropical system is already bringing clouds into the region. It is likely that San Diego will receive showers today, with the rain continuing off and on for the majority of Thursday.
The weekend storm, however, will be much colder and will produce plenty of powdered snow – so get ready for skiing or snowboarding on Christmas day!
