Green Motion awarded the Green World Award 2023
What a win!
Tesla have announced their third quarter vehicle delivery numbers, with the company delivering 24,500 vehicles – 15,800 being the Model S and 8,700 being the Model X.
This showed an increase of over 70% from Tesla’s last quarter, noting that around 5,000 vehicles were still in transit at the end of the quarter and therefore were not counted as they will now be included in the last quarter.
For the year, Tesla had intended to make delivery of 80,000 – 90,000 vehicles. Its current production levels are hitting the lower end of that figure.
The CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, has set an ambitious target of 500,000 annual deliveries by 2018 which will be helped by the Model 3 which is going to be a mass market vehicle and is currently anticipated for release in late 2017.
