The Green Organisation, which was officially launched in 1994 in the UK, continues its quest to celebrate all things green in business and local and national governments with the celebration of its annual awards ceremony for the Green Apple Awards which took place at a carbon-neutral presentation ceremony held in London at the iconic Houses of Parliament.

Eco car rental company, Green Motion, again picked up the award for Environmental Best Practice within the transport sector.

This recognition comes as a result of the company’s continued innovation and success in their lowering of CO2 emissions project.

As a result of that success, they are having their winning paper published in The Green Book, the world’s only annual work of reference on environmental best practice that is distributed to environment professionals, universities and libraries around the world by The Green Organisation.
