Uber is bringing their autonomous cars back to San Francisco however this time the self-driving mode will be disabled.

Uber’s futuristic Ford Fusions will be reappearing on the streets on Wednesday, almost a month after the Californian DMV revoked the company’s registrations in a depute which became very public.

This time however, the cars will be used solely for Uber’s mapping purposes and they will not be driving themselves.

Should Uber again use the vehicles for self-driving purposes, the DMV have warned that they will have to acquire the proper permit.
