Green Motion awarded the Green World Award 2023
What a win!
Uber has been revoked by the Californian DMV of their 16 autonomous vehicles yesterday, forcing the company to shut down their self-driving pilot in San Francisco.
The DMV wrote that Uber’s registrations were “improperly issued” as they were not marked properly as test vehicles.
Uber had launched their self-driving pilot last week, which is similar to the program they are running in Pittsburgh, but they failed to obtain the correct license from the DMV.
Uber and the Californian DMV have been publicly disputing the issue, with the DMV apparently having the last word. Uber have not yet stated their new plan of action.
