Green Motion awarded the Green World Award 2023
What a win!
Villages and towns in Central Italy were hit by an earthquake yesterday. This is the 4th time Italy has been struck by an earthquake within the last 3 months.
The latest earthquake was the strongest Italy has had in decades with a 6.6 magnitude.
No one appears to have died however around 20 people were injured.
Towns and villages were evacuated last week which were deemed most exposed which, after yesterday’s earthquake, has saved many lives.
Tremors from yesterday’s earthquake were even felt in Rome, the capital of Italy. As such, the Metro system has been shut down for as far north as Venice.
Italy’s Prime Minister, Matteo Renzi, says that he will rebuild.
