Volkswagen have fixed 470,000 UK vehicles after diesel emission scandal

The German car manufacturer, Volkswagen, has fixed 470,000 British cars (out of 1.2 million affected units) after the diesel emission scandal.

They are fixing, on average, 20,000 cars a week.

However, there is still some anger over the fact that VW owners did not receive compensation and that the company was not fined in the UK, unlike VW in the US.
