Your confirmation email will have the contact information for the location, so we suggest saving the number in your phone ahead of time.

Have the correct documents ready. We try and keep the check in process as painless as possible but we do need to process certain information for legal reasons so having these ready ahead of time can help speed up the process. Make sure you have your booking details ready, along with your driving licence, passport and valid credit card.

Complete a vehicle check. Driving in the Hurghada region is relatively easy by Egyptian standards. The roads leading from the airport to the city and resorts are wide, paved, and signposted in both Arabic and English. Once you leave the airport, you'll join the El-Nasr Road, which runs through the main city and connects to all major beach destinations.

In Egypt, driving is on the right-hand side. You can drive with your home country’s license for short stays, but an International Driving Permit (IDP) is recommended, particularly in case of police checks or rental policies.

Speed limits are 60 km/h (37 mph) in cities, 90 km/h (56 mph) on rural roads, and 100–120 km/h (62–75 mph) on highways.
