Where to park your electric car in Manchester

While you’re off occupying yourself and indulging in the activities and sites of Manchester, it’s the perfect time for your electric car to fill up on the juice. As you swan around and immerse yourself in the city, your electric rental car will be topping up its energy, ready for the next adventure.

For the city’s shopping centres such as Manchester Arndale and intu Trafford Centre, you can park at NCP Church Street car park where there are six charging points and at intu Trafford Centre itself which has 12. Happy shopping!

Football, football, football

Manchester is synonymous with football as for sports fans, a trip to the city is because of just that. If your trip includes a football match or a stadium tour, there is parking with charging points by both Old Trafford and the Etihad Stadium.

For Old Trafford, you should park at Trafford New Town Hall on Warwick Road. Here there are two charging points that in close vicinity to Manchester United FC’s ground as well as the Old Trafford cricket stadium. Those who are with the blue half of the city will find three charging points on Ashton New Road, just outside of the Etihad Stadium.

Going beyond the stadiums, visitors can discover the history of the beautiful game at the National Football Museum. Park up at Q-Park Deansgate North which has two 22kW fast charging points.

Lake and Peak District

Of course, there is plenty to see and do out of Manchester’s city centre and with a rental car, we’re sure you’ll want to get out and explore areas out of the city at some point.
